Honors Convocation

Each year, Lake Erie College seniors are honored at the end of the year Honors Convocation held a few days prior to commencement. The Honors Convocation is a time-honored event that is held in Morley Music Building and features the formality of music from the pipe organ and a procession of faculty in academic regalia.

A motivating speech is given by a top faculty member, annual awards are presented to top students in each area and honor recognition is given to those in the Scholars Program, those receiving Latin Honors and members of Mortar Board Honor Society.
