Graduate Program

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Lake Erie College first offered the master of business
administration degree in 1981, and since then, nearly 1,000 business leaders have earned their MBA at Lake Erie. The program enables graduates to expand their horizons and assume progressively more responsible managerial duties. Classes are small and are taught by qualified faculty — individuals with substantial managerial experience as well as advanced academic credentials.
Master of Science in Education (MSEd)
The mission of the Graduate Education Department extends far beyond the confines of traditional classroom instruction. The Effective Teacher program is designed to address the needs of teachers in today's schools. In both the core and elective courses, teachers are exposed to contemporary issues and opposing viewpoints which impact classroom management. The Graduate Education Department is committed to providing a wide range of educational opportunities to teachers in Northeast Ohio.
Professional Development Seminars (PD)
Professional Development Seminars give teachers and other school personnel the opportunity to keep up-to-date on current trends and issues in education as well as providing refresher classes in key topics such as behavior modification. Each one-credit hour, graduate level course is completed by attending class on Friday evening and all day Saturday and returning the required outside assignment. Credits may be used toward professional certification, for pay scale upgrades, and, in some cases, toward a master’s degree. Lake Erie College also welcomes the opportunity to custom design seminars for the staff development needs of individual schools or districts. |
