For those students entering the Weekend College with an Associates degree in Business or Accounting, Lake Erie College offers a special accelerated Bachelors Degree program called FasTrac.

The Lake Erie College Weekend Program is designed for working students who find it difficult to complete an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Accounting by attending classes only on weekdays or weeknights. Classes reserved for Weekend College students are offered on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons during the regular school year. Each Fall and Spring semester is divided into two seven-week weekend cycles, Cycle A and Cycle B. The classes in each cycle meet for seven consecutive weeks. For example, a Cycle A Saturday morning class would meet the first seven Saturday mornings in the semester upon which that class would be completed. A Cycle B Saturday morning class would then meet for the second seven Saturday mornings. Weekend College students may also choose to take a weekday, weeknight or online course. Summer courses will meet weeknights on consecutive weeks.

A Weekend College student who wants to accelerate completion could take up to six courses a term by attending courses in both cycles during the Fall and Spring. Those on a more traditional completion plan could choose classes in either or both cycles as well as classes offered during the week. Students who have the objective of completing the program as quickly as possible would want to plan to attend classes during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
