This major course of study allows a student to combine passion for language and cultural study with any other catalog major. A concentration in Francophone, Germanophone, Italophone , or Hispanic languages and cultures opens a world of career opportunities in business, marketing, advertising and public relations, social sciences, natural sciences, humanities and the arts. |

Internship and study abroad options allow students to pursue practical and applied experience in their chosen fields, complemented by the concentration’s focus on global awareness and cultural sensitivity, vital to personal and professional success. |

Requirements for this Major:
44 semester credits including:
One from the the following:
- FR 490 Senior Research Project (4 SH)
- GR 490 Senior Research Project (4 SH)
- IT 490 Senior Research Project (2 or 4 SH)
- SP 490 Senior Research Project (4 SH)
24 credits beyond the 100-level in one foreign language
and 16 additional credits beyond the 100-level in either another foreign language or any other major offered at Lake Erie College.
Lake Erie College offers language courses in French, German, Italian and Spanish.
