Hall of Fame

In order to formally recognize outstanding individuals who have contributed to the heritage and tradition of the College's athletic program and reputation, the Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame was established. The director of athletics, in conjunction with the director of alumni relations and with assistance from the director of sports media relations, oversees operation of the entity.

Individuals are eligible for the Hall of Fame by the following criteria:

• Outstanding athletic achievement at Lake Erie College or later in life
• Coaches and administrators based on accomplishments or contributions to the program
• Former student-athletes must be a minimum 10 years removed from their final season of competition. This requirement may be waived under special circumstances as approved by a majority vote of the Hall of Fame committee.

The induction ceremony for Lake Erie College's Athletics Hall of Fame is held annually in October during Alumni Weekend.
