Lake Erie Players Earn All-Conference Honors
Feb. 29 - Three members of the Lake Erie College men's basketball
team earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference post-season honors.
Jajcen Harris (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph's),
a freshman, was named the newcomer of the year while also earning honorable
mention status. Meanwhile, senior Tony Tibayan (Painesville, Ohio/Harvey)
was named to the second team and fellow senior A.J. Johnson (Willowick,
Ohio/Eastlake North) joined Harris as an honorable mention selection.

Last Second Shot Falls Short, Storm Season Comes to End
Feb. 25 - A 26-foot three-point field goal attempt by freshman Robert
Williams (Richmond Heights, Ohio/Richmond Heights) as time expired fell
short, and the Lake Erie College men's basketball team's season ended
with a 67-66 first-round Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference playoff
loss.

Seniors Shine in Final Regular Season Home Game
Feb. 18 - Seniors Mike Rustifo (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Perry) recorded
a season-high 19 points while fellow senior Aaron Johnson (Willowick,
Ohio/Eastlake North) contributed 15 points as the Lake Erie College
men's basketball team defeated Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference
rival Pitt-Bradford, 69-68.
