How to Register for an Internship

Once you have established an internship position with an employer, follow these guidelines:

1. Obtain Internship Registration and Application Agreement Form from Career Services and internships/Student      Life Office, or IMAGE LC office in College Hall 200, or online on the Career Services; Internships website at      http://www.lec.edu/career/internships.
 
2. Meet with Faculty Advisor to figure out how an internship credit fits into your course plan.
 
3. Get signature approval on Internship Registration Form for internship from Faculty Advisor.
 
4. Choose and meet with a Faculty Sponsor who will supervise your internship.
 
5. Develop goals and objectives with Faculty Sponsor for your internship.
 
6. Get signature approval on Internship Registration Form from Faculty Sponsor.
 
7. Obtain signature approval on Internship Registration Form from internship Site Supervisor.
 
8. Submit resume and Learning Objectives form to a representative of
    Career Services & Internships in College Hall 200.
 
9. Get signature approval from a Career Services & Internships
    representative in College Hall 200.
 
10. Submit COMPLETED Internship Application and Agreement Form to the
       Registrar’s Office.
