This major provides students with the skills and knowledge required to carry out various types of legal assistant/administrator responsibilities such as legal research, writing and investigations. Legal Assistants work for private law firms, government, banks, insurance companies and real estate agencies. Ohio prohibits the practice of law by non-attorneys.
