Ruta Greiner serves as the primary communications connection to Lake Erie College’s president, vice presidents, campus constituents and outside sources. Greiner developed and implements the College’s strategic marketing plan and oversees news media activity and website design on the overall strategic plan for the website. She joined the College’s staff in 2010. She has more than 25 years experience in marketing, public relations and environmental graphics including creative design solutions, project management, organizational leadership and strategic planning. In 2010, Greiner contributed to and further led the initiative of the redesign and rebranding of the College’s website. She is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Lake County and an active member of the golf and marketing committees of this organization. Greiner serves on the College’s Emergency Response Committee. Prior to Lake Erie College, Greiner spent over 20 years as a non-equity partner and studio leader at KA Architects in Cleveland.
Greiner holds a bachelor of fine arts with a major in industrial design and minors in graphic and interior design from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
