Student Boarder Rules and Regulations

(see "Fees", Appendix A)
Please note that boarders are Lake Erie College students first, and all rules and regulations for students apply to student boarders. When in doubt, ask!
Two levels of board are available to LEC students: full care and partial care. General rules apply to all levels of board. Partial care boarders, must note additional information pertinent to your boarding situation.
Please remember, boarders are also responsible for the actions of their friends or helpers who may be caring for their horse in their absence. It is the duty of the boarder to inform their associates of the rules and regulations under which their boarding contract is validated.
The Equestrian Center management and faculty reserve the right to call a veterinarian in the event of an emergency. Every attempt will be made to contact the owner of the horse first. LEC faculty, staff, and administration will not be responsible for any medical costs.
All boarders must have proof of negative Coggins within 6 months of arrival at the Equestrian Center. Horses should be de-wormed and updated with all innoculations within a month of their arrival at the Equestrian Center.
IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY, THE EQ CENTER ADMINISTRATION, MANAGEMENT AND FACULTY RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANY BOARDER TO REMOVE ANY UNRULY OR UNSAFE HORSE FROM THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER. ANY BOARDER NOT ABIDING BY RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED TO REMOVE HIS/HER HORSE AND BELONGINGS FROM THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER AND THE BOARDER CONTRACT WILL BE REVOKED AT THE DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT. |
