Absolut was born in May of 1990, and bred by Alf Carlsson at Stuteri Degerhaga in Sweden. Absoluts' sire Martini was short listed for the 1996 Swedish Olympic Dressage Team. Martini was a member of the bronze winning 1997 Swedish Dressage Team at the European Championships. Martini has competed in many Grand Prix and Grand Prix Specials. Absolut is out of a Diploma mare Karima. Three Crowns Farm imported him to the US in in 1991. Three Crowns Farm generously donated him to Lake Erie College in 1997. Students in the college stud farm management program have handled him in and out of the breeding shed. Since that time he has been bred to a small number of college owned mares and outside mares.
