Student Loan Information for the 2011-2012 Academic Year

Federal Direct Stafford Loan

All students who intend to borrow Federal Direct Stafford Loan funds must have a Direct Stafford Master Promissory Note (MPN) and have completed Stafford Loan entrance counseling. Use your PIN from the Department of Education to complete your information.


Federal PLUS (Parent Loan for Undergraduate Student)

A PLUS loan is a Federal loan a parent can borrow on behalf of the student. The maximum amount a parent is eligible to borrow is the student's cost of attendance less any other aid awarded. A parent can be the student's biological or adoptive mother or father. A stepparent is eligible to borrow if his/her income and asset information is reported on the student's FAFSA. A legal guardian is not considered a parent.

Exit Counseling

Exit Counseling for students who have borrowed federal loans is required upon separation from the college. Use your PIN to access the Exit counseling.
