Special Circumstances

You may ask the financial aid office to consider re-evaluating your financial aid need if you or your parent has experienced any large change your financial circumstances from the time of filing your FAFSA. Such conditions include unemployment, loss of income, high medical expenses not covered by insurance, divorce or death of a parent. You may request a Special Circumstance form from the Financial Aid office to complete to document the type of circumstance and the effect it has on your present financial standing. Submission of this information does not guarantee that any change in your financial aid will occur. All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and you will be notified in writing the outcome of the evaluation.
