[Tonight]: Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to Host Pep Rally

(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host a pep rally tonight, Friday, October 12 from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center.

The pep rally will consist of fun activities for everyone! Pie your favorite coach or professor in the face, hit the bull’s eye in the duck toss and win a $25 gift card, or participate in the second annual car smashing event. The announcement of this year’s homecoming court will also be made. The king and queen will be revealed during half-time at the Homecoming/Alumni Weekend football game on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jack Britt Memorial Stadium.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the NCAA Division II "Week of Wishes” campaign which is held October 5-15. SAAC works closely with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and plans to host more events in the near future.
