Dean Robert Trebar to Speak at American Society for Competitiveness

Dean Robert Trebar has been invited to speak at the 24th annual American Society for Competitiveness (ASC) conference November 7-9, 2013 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He will speak on the topic of "Entrepreneurship and the Undergraduate Experience."

"In our flattened global economy, economic competitiveness will increasingly drive our ability to create value for individuals, organizations and societies. The innovation that is at the core of the entrepreneurial process links competitiveness to the sustainable development of well-being at all levels. Undergraduate education is an ideal context in which the thought process and expansive orientation characteristic of entrepreneurship can be fostered," said Trebar.

Trebar will join a prestige list of highly respected past speakers of the ASC conferences such as U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao, Ford Motor Co. CEO Alex Trotman and U.S. Ambassador Andrew Young.
