LAKE ERIE COLLEGE PRESENTS A SPRING STUDENT DANCE PERFORMANCE
(PAINESVILLE, OHIO) - The Lake Erie College dance department announces a spring dance performance to be held Thursday, April 27 and Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the C.K. Rickel Theatre in the Fine Arts Center of the Lake Erie College campus. The performance will include a variety of dances choreographed by well-known local and visiting choreographers.
The performance, featuring Lake Erie College dance students, will include pieces choreographed by Bill Wade, Joe Booth, Cha-lee Chan and Amy Compton Schulz. A traditional Chinese ribbon dance choreographed by Cha-lee Chan will be a highlight of the evening along with a highly energized contemporary dance piece choreographed by Joe Booth set to music by Bach. Also featured will be the Cleveland State University Dance Company, directed by Lynn Deering, performing works from their repertory.
