Lake Erie College Offers MBA Classes at Parker Hannifin Corp.

Lake Erie College is now offering master of business administration classes at two on-site locations of the Parker Hannifin Corp. – the corporate headquarters in Mayfield Heights and the gas turbine division in Mentor.
Twenty Parker employees are currently enrolled in the program and new students are going to be accepted every January. Students can complete the entire program in two years by attending two evening classes a week.
These classes, instructed by Lake Erie College faculty, give Parker employees the chance to work together to connect the concepts covered to the real-life opportunities and challenges encountered during the workday.
Robert Trebar, Dean of Management Studies and Instructor of Business
Administration, said, “Lake Erie College has been very successful at making high-quality graduate business education accessible and convenient for busy professionals, so much so that our MBA student enrollment has grown
from 49 to more than 120 students since 2004.”
“Empowered employees continue to be the foundation of Parker’s success,” said Dan Serbin, Parker vice president of Human Resources. “Having the outstanding programs of Lake Erie College available within our own facilities makes it convenient for many of our emerging leaders to get the skills they need to compete in today’s global marketplace.”
“We are very appreciative of the efforts of the Parker team in facilitating the implementation of this innovative program,” said Trebar.
