Three Soccer Players Earn OSCA Academic Honors

Lake Erie College soccer players Justin Daly, Angela Bethel and Loni Sargent were selected to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-Ohio Academic Teams for the 2006 season as announced recently by the OCSA.

Senior defender Daly of Hubbard, Ohio, was a first-team pick for the men. Twenty-two players total were chosen, with 11 on each of the two teams. Daly was earlier selected to participate in the All-Ohio Senior All-Star Game as one of the 34 representatives chosen from throughout the state.
 
On the women's side, sophomore forward Bethel of Beavercreek, Ohio, was selected to the first-team and junior defender Sargent of Hubbard, Ohio, made the second-team. Twenty-two players were also selected for the women.
