Great Lakes Lecture Series to host lectures March 28 and April 2

The Great Lakes Lecture Series will host two upcoming lectures. The first speaker will be Rich Cochran, president of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Lake Erie College’s Morley Music Building.
 
The lecture will focus on issues of land use and the conservation of northeast Ohio as a whole.
 
The second lecture features “The Future of Parks and Open Space in Lake County” presented by Dave Noble, director of Lake Metroparks, Lee Homyock, director of recreation and public lands for the City of Painesville, and Lee Melius, executive director of Grand River Partners on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at the Morley Library.
 
The discussions, which are free and open to the public, is part of the Great Lakes Lecture Series sponsored by Lake Erie College, Lakeland Community College, Lake Hospital Systems and the Mentor Public Library.
