Community Family Fun Day April 19
Students from the Lake Erie College Early Childhood Education Program will be sponsoring Family Fun Day April 19 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in an effort to celebrate the national Week of the Young Child.
Collaborating with the Tri-County Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC), the event will take place in the
This year’s national theme is “Bring Communities Together for Children, Children bring Communities Together.” The goal of the event is to educate local families about the resources available to them within the community.
Some of the local community representatives will include; CARES, Painesville City ECE, Head Start, Mentor Marsh, Crossroads, Lake County Historical Society, Gymboree and many more.
The LifeSkills Martial Arts program and Gymboree will be putting on demonstrations. Free raffle/door prizes have been donated by local business like Holcombs, Target, Gymboree, Playmatters, Cracker Barrel, Build-A-Bear and the Lake Erie College Bookstore.
