McManamon invited to join Advisory Board of Breckenridge Village
Lake Erie College Professor of Marketing Mary Kay McManamon, D.B.A., received a formal invitation to join the Advisory Board of Breckenridge Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Willoughby.
She accepted a two-year term, attending the organization’s first board meeting last month. McManamon will serve on the marketing subcommittee of the board.
“I am delighted to be able to be a part of such a vibrant group of people; both the Breckenridge staff and the rest of the board, said McManamon.
“They truly reflect the mission of the organization, which is to provide older adults with caring and quality services toward the enhancement of physical, mental and spiritual well-being,” she added.
McManamon has taught in the management studies division of the College since 1993 and has previous professional experience in advertising production, telecommunications management, non-profit marketing, start-up company developing and marketing research. In the Lake Erie College undergraduate program, she teaches marketing courses, as well as international business. At the graduate level, she teaches marketing, business process management and corporate responsibility/issues management.
She received her bachelor of arts degree in English from Notre Dame College and master’s of business administration from Cleveland State University, with a major in marketing and a minor in finance. While enrolled in the doctorate of business administration program at Cleveland State University, McManamon taught part time and worked as a marketing research consultant for a number of Northeast Ohio health care organizations.
