Calabretta named executive director of development and alumni relations

Andre Calabretta was recently named as the executive director of development and alumni relations at Lake Erie College.

Calabretta joins the College from his alma mater, Saint Ignatius High School, where he served as annual fund director since 2004 and alumni director from 2002-2004. He is a certified public accountant and gained experience at Barne Wendling CPA’s in Cleveland as an advanced staff accountant from 1998-2002.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration from John Carroll University. He continues to maintain an active certified public accountant license.

Calabretta is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and is a member of the board of directors for The Reason for Our Hope Foundation in Erie, Pa.
