Booher earns second place in national writing contest

The contest is comprised of five categories, including athlete feature, general feature, coach/administrator profile, event coverage and historical feature. Members of CoSIDA are eligible for the contest which is judged by a district representative and a panel of three judges and is based on overall writing style, correct use of English, inventiveness, written presentation and the ease with which the reader acquires the information.
Booher’s article was one of 75 articles judged within District 4, which was the most received in any district in this year’s contest.
