Sunday's baseball doubleheader dedicated to Paul Robare

For Sunday's (April 5) doubleheader against Mercyhurst College, Lake Erie College will pay tribute to former staff member and longtime supporter of Storm athletics, Paul Robare, who unexpectedly passed away last Saturday.

Robare, 45, was the director of food service for Metz & Associates Ltd. which was in charge of the campus dining facility. He was also the father of Mike Robare, a member of the Storm football team.

Lake Erie coaches and players will wear black wristbands during Sunday's contests and a moment of silence will occur prior to the first game.

The twin bill is scheduled for a noon start at Classic Park in Eastlake. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. Admission is $5.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution should make a check payable to the Robare Children's Educational Fund and mail it to:
