Christian Music Festival
Expected to Rock the Campus
Lake Erie College will celebrate its first-ever Christian music festival on Sunday, November 21 at 6:00 p.m. Strength Fest, created by the College’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes student organization, hopes to strengthen individual’s lives and show that with God, all things are truly possible. The event will be held in the Morley Music Building and is open to the public.
Strength Fest is based on the Bible verse Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
“Our goal is to have everyone that comes to our event not leave the same way they came in. God’s power is ultimate and endless and can change any life and circumstance,” said Ben Ehrman, president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The event will include four performances, beginning with Jachin, a worship band from Akron, Ohio; followed by Christian award nominated solo artist Abbey Gregory, Dove award nominated band, The Corey Brooks Band and culminating with the headline performer, hip-hop artist KJ-52. Mark Rein, from Cleveland radio 95.5 The Fish, will host the event. A meet-and-greet will follow the concert.
