Lake Erie College Announces 2011 Equestrian Event Schedule
The Lake Erie College department of Equine Studies has released the 2011 spring equestrian event schedule. All events are open to the public and welcome media coverage. The Lake Erie College George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center is located in Concord Township, Ohio, approximately six miles from the main campus. The center features a 100’ x 225’ indoor arena with seating for 1,000 spectators, an attached 70’ x 130’ warm-up arena, two outdoor sand dressage arenas, one limestone arena, a hunt field with cross country obstacles, including two banks and trails.
The Equestrian Learning Center was designed by The Bostwick Designs Partnership of Cleveland and includes three state-of-the-art classrooms, a student computer lab and wireless internet throughout the facility. The building also includes student locker rooms with showers, a student lounge area and a barn staff lounge.
