GREAT LAKES LECTURE SERIES KICKS OFF WITH LAKE ERIE SHORELINE DISCUSSION
(Lake County) - Lakeland Community College, Lake Erie College and Lake Hospital System are collaborating for the second consecutive year to provide interesting lectures and presentations for the general public through "The Great Lakes Lecture Series: Issues that Matter." The series kicks off at Lakeland Community College on September 28 at 7:30 p.m. in room H101 with a lecture entitled, "If You've Got It, Flaunt It."
The kickoff lecture will be led by Harry Allen Jr., Chair of the Lake County Coastal Planning Committee and Jason Boyd, Senior Planner and Project Leader of the Lake County Planning Commission. They will discuss a master development plan for Lake Erie's shoreline that may provide environmental, economic and recreational benefits for all of Lake County. The lecture will last approximately one-and-a-half hours and will be followed by a reception and light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required, but seating is limited.
