Daly Selected to NSCAA/Adidas All-Region Team

The NSCAA/Adidas Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team was announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Lake Erie College senior defender Justin Daly (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) was among the list of honorees.

The Storm starter was one of 33 players selected to represent the Mid-Atlantic Region. He was one of 11 chosen to the second-team – three teams consisting of 11 players each are picked.
Daly was one of the Storm’s leading defenders, helping LEC earn an overall record of 10-8-1. He finished the season with four goals, four assists and 12 points. He earned AMCC First-Team All-Conference, AMCC Player of the Week and D3Kicks Mid-Atlantic Region Second-Team. He also concluded his four-year career as one of the Storm’s all-time leading scorers as a defender.
“Justin is the first soccer player from Lake Erie to receive an honor at such a high level,” said head coach Dale Sheptak.
“He is an outstanding student-athlete and has had a bigger impact on Lake Erie soccer than I could ever express. This all-region honor is a nice capstone to his outstanding career and truly shows the respect that opposing coaches have for him as a player.”
The NSCAA/Adidas honor is available to those players nominated by their coach or another. All players competing in collegiate soccer are eligible.
