David Kosnosky, DO, is the Medical Director for Lake Erie College’s PA program. With his extensive medical background and knowledge, Dr. Kosnosky is a key element in shaping the program. He also provides extremely valuable input as part of the program’s Advisory Committee.

Dr. Kosnosky practices Internal Medicine as part of University Hospitals. He has an office in Concord Township and has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and UH Extended Care Campus.  He has over 30 years of experience in internal medicine.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Kosnosky graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his Flexible Ophthalmology internship at the Naval Regional Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan.  He is a former Commander, Training Air Wing One, and Staff Flight Surgeon.  

Dr. Kosnosky has special medical interests in diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, preventive medicine, geriatrics, and medical ethics.

Dr. Kosnosky is a Cleveland native and a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading and sailing.
