Caraballo named April Intern of the Month
(May 8, 2009) – Senior Daniel Caraballo has been named Lake Erie College’s April Intern of the Month for his work with the Lake County Clerk of Courts.
Caraballo is a criminal justice major minoring in psychology. Throughout his internship, Caraballo has worked with bailiffs to process court records and validated/cross-referenced pending Lake county search warrants. He has also worked in the probation office and processed new clients.
The highlights of the internship included riding along with officers and sitting in on prosecuting and defense pleas.
The Lake Erie College Intern of the Month program is designed to recognize students who have utilized internship opportunities and gained useful knowledge and experience from those endeavors. The program also serves to promote the merits of internships.
Intern of the Month recipients, in addition to their positive intern credentials, should be of high moral and ethical character and in good standing with all facets of the Lake Erie College community. To be considered for Intern of the Month, students must complete an application form and grant permission for the Career Services & Internships Office to review College academic and judicial records.
