Student Organizations
The student clubs, teams and organizations listed are those who have completed all of the requirements for the Student Organization Recognition Process as prescribed by the Lake Erie College Student Government Association and Student Life Office. If a functioning student club, team or group is not listed, please contact Laura Day in the Student Life Office at 440.375.7508 or e-mail lday@lec.edu for the necessary steps to achieve recognition.
- Alpha Psi Omega - National theatre honor society
- Arts Alive - Students who are interested in the fine arts
- Black Student Union - Organizes educational, social programs and events for the campus community
- Cheerleading - Supports men's and women's basketball during home games
- Christian Fellowship - Meets to study the Bible and to embody Christian principles
- Commuter Student Association - Addresses the specific needs of commuting students
- Dance Team - Performs at Ladies' and Mens' home basketball games.
- French-German Club - Students who are interested in French and German culture and/or language have various programs related to these countries
- Gamma Phi Beta - International women's social sorority
- Gay-Straight Alliance - Supports and educates gay and straight students
- Intercollegiate Combined Training Association - Students promoting the equestrian sport
- Intercollegiate Dressage Association - Educate students on the art of dressage
- Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) - Hosts and competes in IHSA events
- Kappa Sigma - National men's social fraternity
- Mane Event - Promotes beauty, talent and diversity of horses
- Mortar Board - National senior honor society
- Pre-Vet Club - The preveterinarian club is to help promote an awareness and interest in veterinary science and to bring preveterinary majors and all other animal lovers together
- Psychology Club - Students address current psychological issues.
- Spanish Club - Students learn about Spanish culture
- Sport Management Club - Students interested in sport management
- Students Acting for the Environment (SAFE) - Students who strive to protect the planet
- Student Activities Council - Students plan campus activities such as: movies, performers and game shows
- Student-Athlete Advisory Committee - To enhance the student-athlete experience.
- Student Government Association - Student leaders who officially express student views and act on the behalf of students at LEC
- Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) - To achieve success in free enterprise
- Taekwondo Club - Teaches students martial arts techniques
- Tau Kappa Epsilon Interest Group - International men's social fraternity
- The Tiber Yearbook - Publishes the Lake Erie College yearbook
- Tomorrow's Teachers - Supports and assists pre-service teachers
- Tower News - School newspaper
