Black Student Union

 Mission Statement:
“Bridging the gap between students of diverse backgrounds through awareness, education, and service”

Black Student Union provides students the opportunity to experience other cultures through programs and service projects. Black Student Union was restructured at Lake Erie College in 2009. During this past semester, the Black Student Union showcased their efforts by hosting a fashion show. The success of this event helped pave the way for the future of this blossoming organization. Black Student Union intends to provide additional cultural programs as well as local service projects for the upcoming academic school year.
