Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is proud to be the first international sorority to colonize at Lake Erie College. In Fall 2008, a group of women previously affiliated with the only local sorority (Delta Kappa Psi) joined the Gamma Phi Beta Lake Erie College colony to form the founding charter class. In the short time Gamma Phi Beta has been at Lake Erie College they have made an impact!
Lake Erie Gamma Phi Betas are active in all areas of campus life. Gamma Phi members are leaders and members in a variety of organizations such as the Student Government Association, Student Activities Council, Greek Council, college athletics, Residence Life, Summer Orientation, Mortar Board, and the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.
Gamma Phi Beta Sorority values sisterhood, leadership, and scholarship. In Fall 2008, Gamma Phi Beta achieved a 3.275 grade point average. This was the highest Greek organization GPA and above the all-campus GPA. Gamma Phi Beta prides itself in enhancing the college experience through the promotion of its founding values.
