TRADITIONAL ON CAMPUS:

•  Air Freshener
•  Alarm Clock
•  Microwaveable bowl/cup and Eating utensils
•  Window fan (On Campus buildings do not have AC)
•  Iron & small ironing board (to be used in the laundry room only)
•  Laundry: clothes hangers, detergent, fabric softener, hamper, basket, or bag
•  Linens: bath towels/wash cloths, bed spread, blanket, comforter sheets (extra long twin or 36" x 80"), mattress pad
•  Microwave
•  Memo board to hang on door
•  Office Supplies: desk calendar, pencils, pens, desk lamp, scissors, stapler, tape, paper
•  Outlet (with circuit breaker )
•  Personal Computer, USB drive
•  Pillow(s)
•  Plants
•  Plastic Bucket or Case (to carry toilet articles to bathroom)
•  Playing cards/Board games
•  Quarters for laundry and vending
•  Stereo and CDs or IPod
•  Refrigerator (1 small 4.5 cubic foot refrigerator per resident)
•  Rug or small carpet (typical room size is 12x12)
•  Stamps & Stationary

The use of irons is not permitted in student rooms and can only be used in the laundry rooms. All irons must have an automatic shut-off. 

Refrigerators: Individual refrigerators are permitted for private use in the residence hall rooms and can be no more than 4.5 cubic feet.

APARTMENTS:

When you make the move to our LEC leased apartment communities, you may want to consider bringing many of the items listed above, but also consider some of the following:

•  9x13 glass pan and oven cookware, as well as microwave safe
•  Oven mitts and dish towels
•  Small kitchen fire extinguisher
•  Nightlights for bathroom and hallway
•  Small couch and chair for living room
•  Small table and chairs
•  Floor lamps
•  Cooking utensils
•  Can Opener
•  Flashlight
•  Sewing kit
•  Small toolbox (screw drivers, hammer, scissors)
•  Cleaning supplies
•  Lightbulbs (no more than 60 watts)
•  Bathroom essentials, including shower curtain and shower curtain rod
