2023 LEC Alumni Weekend| Event

You are invited to come back to campus! Whether it’s for a single event, a single day or the entire weekend, familiar faces and favorite places will jog your memory, whatever your class year, to remember escapades and the shared experiences of demanding schedules, kooky dorm tales, work in your major, and lifetime friendships. Relax and re-connect. Catch up with your fellow majors at alumni mixers on Sept. 28, one hosted by the School of AHESS and the other by the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, which welcomes Dr. Stella Capoccia ’97. Ambassadors will have their first-ever family- friendly reunion, young alums will gather at Red, Wine & Brew, and all alumni are welcome to attend the Manor House cocktail party on Friday, Sept. 29 where class pictures will be taken. Traditions continue with the very best musicians in the house! Alex Bevan in Performance takes place Sept. 30 at 8 pm. It was never officially summer without the legendary concerts of our favorite folksinger/songwriter, from Blossom Music Center to the Lake Erie islands. While you savor the memory of Cleveland’s unforgettable music scene, amble over to Morley Music on Sept. 30 at 3 pm to hear the nationally renowned LEC Artist-in-Residence organist Todd Wilson who will play exciting and colorful music by Bach, Shearing, Price, and Widor on the magnificent Skinner Organ.

Athletics your thing? Three different sports will suit up for home games and don’t miss the “welcome back” induction ceremony for the Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 30. The schedule includes news of exciting developments in academics and student life, a book/author chat, breakfast with the horses, a delicious clambake, and tailgating. The variety makes us uniquely Lake Erie!
