Mountain Day| Event

Our Mountain Day was inspired by Mount Holyoke College’s day of the same name which includes their students climbing an actual mountain. The mountain we encourage LEC students to climb this year is making a positive impact in the local and campus community.  Over the summer, faculty and staff have planned opportunities for students to help others while strengthening their relationships with each other.

This year, Mountain Day will be Wednesday, September 15th. Faculty will not hold classes on this day and instead, students are welcome to engage in any of the community service opportunities.  Engaging in one community service activity will be an assignment for all Freshmen students in their First Year Experience class.

Below is the list and details of each event.
