College Hall

As the first structure built for Lake Erie College, College Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been awarded a Partners in Preservation grant presented by National Geographic.

The most iconic building on the main campus is the famed College Hall which sits front and center on the main campus and in the middle of the city of Painesville, Ohio.

As the first structure built for Lake Erie College, College Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been awarded a Partners in Preservation grant presented by National Geographic.

It’s history began when Lake Erie College was an all women’s seminary and was a pivotal epicenter for the women’s suffrage movement.

Today it not only acts as 4 floors of classrooms and offices for faculty, students and staff but also a welcoming center where all of our students first come in to visit and are guided to take the world by storm.
