Dr. Delavan to present at 2016 SPARCC Education Technology Conference


Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education Dr. Katherine Delavan will present at the 12th annual Education Technology Conference of the Stark/Portage Area Computer Consortium (SPARCC).

Dr. Delavan’s workshop, “Creating Engaging Interactive Presentations with Nearpod,” will teach participants how to make use of Nearpod, an interactive presentation and assessment tool for classrooms. Specifically, Dr. Delavan will teach how to develop engaging Nearpod presentations and how to use the platform’s embedded formative assessments.

The workshop is intended for K-12 teachers, administrators and higher education faculty. There will be a raffle of 6 free Nearpod memberships and other prizes thanks to Nearpod’s support of teachers!
