First annual Spring Storm 10K Trail Run to take place April 2

The Lake Erie College cross country and track & field teams are pleased to present the first annual Spring Storm 10K Trail Run. The event will take place Saturday, April 2 at Girdled Road Reservation in Concord Township beginning at 10:30 a.m.

A 10K (6.2 mile) trail run/walk/hike, the Spring Storm 10K Trail Run is open to all and serves as a fundraiser for the Storm cross country and track & field student-athletes. The course will start and finish near the reservation’s South parking lot located at 12926 Radcliffe Road, with the start/finish line 265 meters north of the trailhead. The course will be two counterclockwise loops around Oak Leaf Trail.

Registration is $25 through March 31 and includes a green tech tee shirt from 10K Fitness & Apparel. Registrations made on April 1-2 will be $30. Checks should be payable to “Lake Erie Track & Field.” Registration is also available online at https://springstormtrailrun.racedirector.com/.

Awards will be given to the following age groups for both males and females: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. There will also be awards for the overall male and female finishers.
