Founders Day

In celebration of Founders Day and in the spirit of upholding the deep-rooted traditions of the College, all students, faculty, and staff are invited to join together in the Morley Music Building on Thursday, November 7 to take part in the Founders Day celebration.

This is one of the few annual events where all students, faculty, and staff gather to celebrate the traditions of Lake Erie College.  The Founders Day program will begin at 2:00pm.  Administrative offices will close at 1:45pm and will reopen following the presentation.

In addition to recognizing descendants of the College founders, we will also welcome our speaker, Daniel Stewart.  Coach Stewart has been an equestrian, instructor, and successful international trainer for over thirty years working with riders all over the world.  He is a best-selling author of three books on equestrian performance and is widely considered one of the world’s leading experts on equestrian sport psychology, athletics, and performance.  Coach Stewart’s coaching helps athletes in a variety of sports learn how to overcome fears, performance anxiety, doubt, perfectionism, expectations, and negative memories, all while learning how to cope with pressure and recover after mistakes.
