Direct Admission Pathway to Gannon University’s | Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

Lake Erie College is excited to offer a new Articulation Agreement with Gannon University that guarantees qualified LEC students a streamlined pathway into Gannon’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Key Benefits:

  • Guaranteed Admission for 2 Students per Year: A minimum of two LEC students who meet all criteria will be admitted annually into the Gannon DPT program.

  • Preferential Consideration: Additional eligible LEC graduates may also be considered, space permitting.

  • Prerequisite Courses Accepted: All required pre-requisite courses completed at LEC with a grade of “C” or better and a GPA of 3.0 or higher will be accepted by Gannon.

  • Dedicated Advising and Support: Students will receive tailored academic advising, along with campus visits and admissions guidance from Gannon faculty.

To Qualify, Students Must:

  • Graduate from LEC with a bachelor’s degree in a major from the School of Natural Science and Mathematics

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in pre-requisite courses

  • Complete all required pre-requisites, including biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, psychology, human anatomy, human physiology, and exercise physiology

  • Submit a complete application via PTCAS, including transcripts and 3 letters of recommendation

  • This opportunity is open to recent graduates (within 3 years) of qualifying for LEC programs. Students are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited and admissions are competitive.
