New Equine Students

Welcome to Lake Erie College! As a new freshman or transfer student to Lake Erie, we would like to learn more about you as you prepare for your first semester riding horses here at LEC. You will also see several documents here that will help you learn more about activities and procedures at the George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center. When you get your student ID and password to Lake Erie On-Line (LEO), you will have access to much more information and materials about life at LEC. To get you started, here are some of the documents that you will need for your summer riding placement evaluation and freshman orientation, and some information about what equipment, materials and attire you will need when classes start. Please read the Equine Studies Student and Rider Eligibility Standards, also provided here.

For additional information or questions, please contact our Equine Studies Coordinator Wendy Burtt at wburtt@lec.edu or Dr. Pam Hess, Dean of the School of Equine Studies at phess@lec.edu
