Lake Erie students win big over winter break

While Lake Erie College was on winter break, students in the School of Equine Studies stayed hard at work continuing to enhance their skills. Notably, student Lissy Naber competed in the High Adult Jumpers at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio, with school horse “Donell” (also known as Telly). The pair won the Reserve Champion title at this competition!

The College would like to thank Donna Rothman and Stonehaven Farm for their stewardship, and would like to congratulate Donna’s daughter, LEC student Samantha Rothman, on her accomplishments! Not to be outdone by Lissy, Samantha display her talent with numerous wins on her own horse, Danika K, including a second place finish in the $5,000 Hunter Derby. The College is incredibly proud of all of its equine students.
