Children and their families will have a new venue for imagination and reading, starting Saturday, September 8.
Family Story Hour in the recently renovated James F. Lincoln Library will feature Lake Erie College’s enthusiastic pre-service teachers as readers from 10 to 11 a.m. on upcoming Saturdays. Readers will also incorporate felt board stories, crafts and games for early literacy.
Dates include September 8 and 22, October 27, and November 3 and 10. On October 13, Family Story Hour will occur as part of the 11th Annual Storytelling Harvest and Scholastic Book Fair.
This free series will be most appropriate for children ages 3 to 8 years.
