Calling all Lake Erie College student and alumni photographers!
Do you have an image of campus or from your time at Lake Erie that captures your experience as a member of the LEC community? The National Alumni Board invites you to submit your photo to “LEC: Through The Lens,” a special photography exhibition that will display photos of what Lake Erie College means to the members of its community.
Current LEC students and alumni are invited to submit their own photos that capture their LEC experience, whether they be of buildings, people, events, games, Stormy, the equestrian center, or more. Photos may be vintage or more recent and can be taken on film or digitally produced – it is entirely up to you.
Students who submit photo entries will be eligible for a variety of prizes, including a $100 gift certificate for the photo judged “best photo” in respect to its composition, lighting, focus and impact. The photo judged “most LEC spirit” will receive a $50 gift certificate. A "Best Alumni Work" award will also be presented.
Those who wish to participate have until September 6, 2017 to select or take their photos. Submissions must be at least 8”x10” prints that are matted and ready to hang. All images must be properly matted in white or black. Minimum image size is 8"x10" (exluding matte); maximum work size is 16"x20" (including matte).
All work must be labeled with the following information attached to the back: title, name of artist, email, phone number, and address. Entries must be delivered to Nancy Prudic, professor of visual arts, between September 1-6, 2017. Professor Prudic's office is located in Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts.
