Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society announced last month that 34 collegiate chapters, including the Laurel Society chapter at Lake Erie College, earned the organization’s prestigious Silver Torch Award. This honor is given to Mortar Board chapters that execute all national criteria and deadlines while promoting scholarship, leadership and meaningful service to their institutions.
“Mortar Board is pleased to recognize these chapters that have achieved the high standards necessary for success at the national level,” noted National President Abigail Diehl, Ph.D. “They serve their campuses well.”
