About the Presenter: Dr. Bryan DePoy is the Senior Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Lake Erie College. He has served as dean and interim associate provost of research and graduate studies at Youngstown State University and in leadership and faculty positions at Southeastern Louisiana University and Delta State University. He serves as a peer review and team chair for the Higher Learning Commission, the largest regional accrediting body in the U.S. Dr. DePoy has degrees from Florida State University, the University of New Mexico, and Indiana University. With training from the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies, Dr. DePoy is a certified mediator and conflict resolution specialist with an emphasis on workplace conflict. He has served on higher education collective bargaining agreement negotiating teams and has taken advanced negotiation and conflict resolution strategies coursework through the Harvard University Extension School. He is also a member of the National Association of Certified Mediation Professionals and has given numerous workshops and presentations regarding workplace conflict. In addition to working in higher education, Dr. DePoy has been active with various non-profit organizations and has served as board chairman for Western Reserve Public Media in Ohio.
