A Reiki clinic will be open for weekly, 30-minute Reiki sessions conducted by Dr. Katharine Delavan, dean of the School of Education and Professional Studies, and Dr. John Spiesman, director of the Student Success Center at LEC, beginning Wednesday, January 31, 2018 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Sessions will take place in room C16 of the Garfield Center every Wednesday through May 2018.
“Reiki is universal energy which provides healing to your physical, emotional and spiritual energies. A Reiki session can help you destress, relieve physical pain and relieve emotional distress,” said Drs. Delavan and Spiesman.
They anticipate holding Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2, Advanced Reiki Training (ART) and Reiki Master Attunement classes, as well as instruction on meditation and use of pendulums.
The clinic is open to the public. There is no set fee to participate in these sessions as they are run on donations.
