Robby Pickett was named the Head Men's and Women's Coach at Lake Erie College in May 2021.

"I am excited and thankful for this opportunity to continue to grow the Storm programs. My goal and mindset is to compete at the highest level, which includes contending in the GMAC, Regionals, and Nationals on an annual basis."

Pickett brings an extensive background to the helm of the Storm golf programs. He most recently coached at Denison University with both Men's and Women's teams setting single-season scoring records and ended the season ranked inside the top 20 in the country. He also served as Graduate Assistant coach for the Ohio Dominican Panthers while earning his MBA in May 2019.

Beyond his coaching background, he has continued to learn. He is TPI Level I and Level II Golf Certified (and is working on Level II Fitness), has a mental performance mastery certificate and has also been a USGA Certified Rules Official.

Before his coaching roles, Pickett graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2016. While at Allegheny, he was a member of the Gators golf team where he was a Great-Lakes All-Region and All-NCAC First-Team selection. He is currently 3rd on the All-Time single-season scoring record with a 74.1 average his senior season and has the 4th-lowest 36-hole score in program history shooting 140 (4-under) at the 2015 Gatorade Collegiate. He has also qualified for the 2019 U.S. Mid-Amateur at Colorado Golf Club, the 2016 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball at Winged Foot Golf Club, multiple Ohio Amateur Championships, and regularly contends in state and local amateur tournaments. Pickett was also a Tournament Director for the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and has caddied at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, OH, and The Camargo Club in Indian Hill, OH--both top 100 courses in the U.S.
