Award-Winning Storyteller and Humorist Paul Strickland at LEC

Professional storyteller Paul Strickland returns to Lake Erie College on Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. to present his show "Once Upon a Lie" in the CK Rickel Theatre at Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts on the campus in Painesville, Ohio. Free, convenient parking is in the lot adjacent to Royce Hall, with the lot entrance on Gillett Street.

Strickland is a storyteller and theatre artist with well over 7 hours of unique family friendly stories in his repertoire. His hilarious and heartfelt tall tales stretch the imagination and have won “Best of Fest” seven times at Fringe Festivals in the U.S. and Canada. Strickland regularly performs at theaters, festivals, and comedy clubs. In November 2018 he made his NYC stage debut Off-Broadway at the SoHo Playhouse with his shadow and flashlight ghost story play "13 Dead Dreams of "Eugene."

Paul will also give a workshop to students in Professor Jaffe's CMY 101 Introduction to Comedy course on Thursday, March 16 at 9:30 a.m. in Royce Hall. The community is welcome to observe. Those interested in attending should contact Prof Jaffe at 440-375-7451.
